Unity in the Community Needs You!
The 23rd Annual Unity in the Community will be on Saturday, August 19th from 10 am to 4 pm at Riverfront Park, Clock Tower in Spokane Washington. Last year over 10,000 people were in attendance and over 150 vendors were present.
This large undertaking could not happen without all of the people who volunteer either the day before or day of the event. If you want be part of the volunteer team that makes the largest diversity celebration in the Inland Northwest happen, please consider the following opportunities
Volunteer on the Friday before the event, August 18th.
- Set up shifts: 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM or 3:00 – 7:00 PM
Volunteer on the day of the event, August 19th.
- Clean-up (we can always use more individuals for this opportunity)
- General Volunteer (help at information booth, assist with vendors, and other jobs that need to be done on the day of the event)
Volunteer in the youth area (help with giveaways, etc)
Cultural Village area
- Stage Area
If you are interested in volunteering on August 19th, you do not have to stay all day. We have three shifts for you to choose between; 7:00 to 11:00 am, 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m., or tear down from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.
We have a few slots left to help stuff bags of school supplies on Wednesday, August 16th 8 am to 1 pm.
